Todas las entidades de protección animal, da igual que sean públicas, privadas, con refugios, casa de acogida, pequeñas, grandes, todas, nos regimos por unas Leyes de Protección Animal. Éstas nos indican cómo recoger a nuestros animales, protocolos veterinarios, sanitarios, bienestar animal, desinfecciones y muchos otros aspectos. A día de hoy, no hay ningún tipo de directriz, asesoramiento o mínimos, de qué tenemos que hacer para entregarlos a las familias. Por ello, hay una gran diferencia en los procesos de adopción entre unas entidades y otras.
En nuestro caso, es un proceso muy estudiado y muy claro, desarrollado durante más de 10 años de experiencia. No pedimos más de ti, que seguir los pasos que te facilitamos. Nos adaptamos a las familias, sus necesidades y sus tiempos, pero siempre dentro de unos baremos marcados, que sabemos que funcionan...
Y todo comienza con el envío de tu formulario a través de nuestra página web. Este formulario es importante, porque nos da información fundamental de quiénes sois como núcleo familiar, vuestro día a día, expectativas, si os habéis fijado en algún gato en concreto, etc. Y todo lo que nos contáis, nos ayuda a preparar la entrevista online que concertaremos. No es necesario extenderse demasiado, pues nos vamos a conocer en persona (virtualmente), pero tampoco esperamos respuestas con monosílabos.
IMPORTANTE: Te aconsejamos que registres nuestra dirección de correo electrónico en tu servidor de correo, para evitar una posible recepción a SPAM de nuestras comunicaciones.
Una vez recibido, a más tardar el lunes siguiente a la recepción del formulario, te responderemos. Si está todo correcto, te haremos llegar instrucciones para concertar tu entrevista de adopción. Todas las semanas se programan hasta 5 posibles entrevistas, y dependerá del momento del año y la cantidad de solicitudes recibidas, que haya más o menos disponibilidad.
Si en algún caso la información que nos facilitas nos plantea preguntas concretas, tenemos alguna cosa especial que comentarte sobre el gato que te ha gustado, o lo que sea, en lugar de las instrucciones, recibirás un correo nuestro con información o preguntas.
Aclaramos que el hecho de preguntar por un gato, no significa que sea una opción viable, o sí, tendremos que ir avanzando en el proceso de adopción para averiguarlo. Puede que ese gato ya haya sido comprometido por otra familia, que no encaje en vuestras vidas, que tenga un hermanito inseparable pero tú solo desees adoptar uno...

Adoption form
All animal welfare organisations, whether public or private, with shelters, rescue centres, small or large, are subject to animal welfare laws. These indicate how we should gather our animals, which veterinary and sanitary protocols we should follow, how we should ensure the welfare of the animals, how we should disinfect, and many other aspects. At the moment, there are no guidelines, advice or minimum requirements regarding what we need to do to handover these cats to families. Therefore, there is a significant difference in the adoption processes between different entities.
In our case, it is a well-founded and very clear process that has been developed over more than 10 years of experience. We ask nothing more of you than to follow the steps we provide. We adapt to families, their needs and their schedules, but always within certain guidelines that we know work...
And it all starts with submitting your form through our website. This form is important because it provides us with essential information about who you are as a family, your daily routine, your expectations, whether you have your eye on a particular cat, etc. And everything you tell us helps us prepare for the online interview we will arrange with you. There is no need to go into too much detail, as we will be meeting in person (virtually), but we do not expect one-word answers either.

Upon receipt of the form, we will respond no later than the Monday following receipt. If everything is in order, we will send you instructions on how to arrange your adoption interview. Up to five interviews are scheduled each week, and availability will depend on the time of year and the number of applications received.
If the information you provide raises specific questions, or if we have something special to tell you about the cat you like, or whatever else, instead of instructions, you will receive an email from us with information or questions.
We would like to clarify that asking about a cat does not mean that it is a possible option, or if it is, we will have to move forward with the adoption process to find out. That cat may already have been reserved by another family, it may not fit into your lifestyle, it may have an inseparable sibling but you only want to adopt one...
