Schedule a pick-up date for your cat
Between completing the course and taking the test, you will need to decide when you want to pick up your adopted cat.
We provide adoption services every day of the year, but only during hours when we are not open to the public: so that one of our colleagues can explain the information leaflet to you, answer any last-minute questions you may have, put the cat in the carrier, etc. You must decide what day and time you would like to come and pick up your cat and let us know by email, as described in the next step.
PLEASE NOTE: The cat will only be handed over to the new owner, never to a third party, so whoever is going to be the new legal owner must come to pick up the cat.
If the date of pick-up of the cat is later than one calendar month from the day of the agreement, monthly maintenance costs per cat will be charged, amounting to €50. We understand that sometimes life gets in the way and picking up the cat has to be postponed. But also understand that we must continue to care for the cat during that time, with its needs for food, litter, time, veterinary care, etc.
PLEASE NOTE: These are the general opening hours. There may be occasional changes due to public holidays or public or private events organised by our association. Use these opening hours as a guide to help you choose. If there are any issues with your decision, we will let you know.
